It's been a while since I updated. I'm in Kyoto, and enjoying this year tremendously so far - which is a relief, as I've never before been anywhere entirely on my own... Not even really to visit, let alone LIVE. Even when I went to Uni, I knew someone else going to the same place.

I was actually terrified by the point when I got on the plane. (I had never flown on my own, either.) But I needn't have been - japan is amazing, I've made friends, my japanese is getting much better (even if it's still awful!), and I haven't starved yet! XD

On the other hand, my wrist is STILL playing me up *grumpy* so I haven't done much writing or drawing in my spare time - I couldn't fit my tablet into my luggage, either. Not that I've had that much spare time. *buried by piles and piles of vocab and kanji to learn*

Still, I've been taking photos, so I thought I might as well put a few of them up. While I'm going through my files, I might put some up from the summer holiday, too. XD
